Berchtold + Schellhammer, with Wolfgang Schellhammer

New construction of a residential house with a watchmaker's workshop as part of the funding programme of the "Landsiedlung Baden-Württemberg" in the historic centre of the village. Replacement of the existing historic building.

The existing building, built in 1779, could not be preserved due to its damaged structure. Therefore, a new building was constructed in coordination with the “Landsiedlung Baden-Württemberg”.

The new house was carefully integrated into the surroundings. A strict budget and discipline during the planning process and in the choice of amenities led to a clear and consistent formal language in the interior and exterior.
